A family business, three generations in
Couve Cards is a family shop for sports cards in Vancouver, WA — launched in 2026, with the hobby in our family going back to the 1950s.
Cards are how this family has connected across generations: grandparents and grandkids at the same kitchen table, sorting the same sets decades apart. That's the part we care about protecting. Every card we list and every collection we buy gets treated like it mattered to somebody, because it did.
The case is sports cards — graded slabs and raw singles, vintage and modern — plus Disney when something good lands. We buy collections, estate sales, and bulk lots, and we consign the cards that still have room to run.
We run this as a business, but we price it like collectors. Sometimes the number on a card is simply what it would take for us to let it go, and that sits above the market. That isn't a mistake. It means we're in no hurry, and you're welcome to wait us out.
Plenty of what we list is the other kind — cards we aren't attached to, priced to move, funding the next thing we actually want. And not everything we own is on the site. Some of it isn't for sale at any number.

A few of ours do carry a price. It's what it would take for us to let go, which is well above the comps. The number is honest — it just isn't a deal.

Couve Cards is run in part by the next generation of hobbyists in our family. Our high schooler is learning the business for real — pricing and sales, marketing and photography, packing and shipping, customer service, and the books behind all of it.
He's in high school today. In a few years he'll be in college, and this will still be here: a real business with real books, built while he was learning how one works. Whether it stays a hobby that pays for itself or turns into something he takes further is his call to make. Either way the skills are his to keep.
So when you buy a card here, you're helping teach somebody how a business actually works. Thanks for that.
