The rules of buying here, in plain language. Nothing hidden, nothing in six-point type.
All sales are final
Every card is photographed front and back and described honestly — including what's wrong with it. Because you can see exactly what you're buying before you commit, all sales are final and we don't accept returns or exchanges. Ask us anything before you order; we'd much rather answer a question than have you guess.
Combined shipping
Buy more than one card and they ship together — one shipping charge, however many you add to the cart. Orders normally leave within one business day.
Insured shipping over $500
Orders totaling more than $500 ship via FedEx or UPS, fully insured, signature required. Everything else ships USPS with tracking, packed in a sleeve, card saver, team bag and rigid mailer.
Damaged or lost in transit
If a package arrives damaged, photograph it before opening and email us the same day — insured shipments are claimable and we'll work it through with the carrier. Cards damaged after delivery are not covered.
Grading and condition
Graded cards are described by their slab: grader, grade and cert number, which you can verify with the grading company directly. Raw cards get our own honest condition note, and our opinion of a raw card's condition is exactly that — an opinion, not a guarantee of any future grade.
Pricing and availability
Most listings are one-of-one — once a card sells it's gone. We price against recent sold comps and prices change as the market does. If a listing has an obvious pricing or description error, we may cancel and refund the order rather than ship it.
Cards we buy and consign
Cash offers on collections are good for seven days and are based on the cards as described and photographed. If what arrives differs materially from what was described, we'll requote or return it at our cost.
Consignment: you keep ownership until the card sells. You keep 85% when it sells on Couve Cards platforms and 80% when it sells on eBay or another marketplace. No listing fee. You may pull a card that hasn’t sold and has no live bid (return shipping yours); if we’ve already listed or marketed it, a $5 termination fee per card applies. Unsold cards are returned to you.
